We study the molecular mechanisms of plant responses to pathogens. Our current research focuses on Arabidopsis, tomato and sorghum and their molecular interactions with different fungal pathogens. Specific topics cover chromatin modification and stress/pathogen response, plant immune signaling with a focus on responses to fungi as well as genetics and genomics of fungal resistance in sorghum.
