RemTech LLC. seeks Project Engineer in Schwenksville, PA with the ability to telecommute from any U.S. location.
Duties: Identify and procure appropriate equipment/system for the client’s business need. Establish user requirement specifications for equipment designs and procurement. Establish a selection process for new equipment and systems procurement. Coordinate and participate in factory/site acceptance testing. Coordinate the installation, commissioning, and qualification activities for projects. Develop and implement Equipment qualifications (IQ/OQ/PQ), Process Validation Protocols and Reports. Provide Technical Expertise for Manufacturing Equipment. Perform designs, design reviews, re-designs and modifications to machine assemblies to improve machine operating performance. Use computers extensively to support the design, procurement, testing and validation of new equipment. Analyze problems to see how equipment issues with the equipment might be solved. Investigate and diagnose equipment failures to help establish and optimize new equipment solutions. Support the utility and facility infrastructure required to maintain equipment operations. Manage the continuous engineering improvement process for the equipment, facility, utilities and processes. Determine current engineering needs and plans for future engineering requirements. Identify and implement equipment upgrades and improvements to increase manufacturing efficiency and / or yields. Analyze overall equipment efficiency. Support equipment repair, maintenance and calibration activities. Work with maintenance team to identify proper maintenance and calibration schedule of the new and existing manufacturing equipment. Create and revise maintenance and calibration standard operating procedures (SOPs) for new/existing manufacturing equipment. Train equipment SOPs to maintenance technicians for repair, maintenance, and calibration of the equipment. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair the equipment as needed.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or closely related field of study, plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related position. Must have five (5) years of experience in the following: working with FDA/cGMP regulations and guidelines on environment, quality, safety, and manufacturing; technical and operational use of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment; implementing equipment validation; implementing equipment issue troubleshoot, repair, and maintenance; mechanical and electrical equipment drawings and layouts; and statistical analysis. Travel required 15% of the time to various client locations in the U.S.
