Under general direction, this position plans, designs, and reviews construction plans for projects in the Capital Improvements Program related to paving, drainage, water, and sewer infrastructure. Position performs all contract management functions for these projects.
Grad Engineer / Civil Engineer / Sr. Civil Engineer – Capital Improvements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Graduate Engineer– Capital Improvements • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
Civil Engineer – Capital Improvements • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university. • Two years of experience in the field of public works engineering.
Senior Civil Engineer – Capital Improvements • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited university • Five or more years of experience in the field of development and /or public works engineering.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES REQUIRED: Graduate Engineer – Capital Improvements • Registration as an Engineer-in-Training in the State of Texas or ability to obtain within six months. • Valid Class C Texas Driver License with a good driving record.
Civil Engineer – Capital Improvements • Registration as a licensed engineer in the State of Texas or ability to obtain a license within six months. • Valid Class C Texas Driver License with a good driving record.
Senior Civil Engineer – Capital Improvements • Registration as a licensed engineer in the State of Texas. • Valid Class C Texas Driver License with a good driving record.
