The College of Computing and Informatics (CCI) invites applications for multiple full-time teaching faculty positions in Information Technology and Data Science.  CCI is located in a brand new building with state-of-the-art classrooms, research and student labs with abundant space to promote collaboration and innovation. It offers a variety of B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees spanning all areas of computing and informatics, including new degrees such as MS in Data Science, and MS in Information, and MS in Business Information Technology.

Information Technology candidates are expected to have:

• Expertise in one or more specialized areas of information technology, such as:
  • Cloud Technology, Cloud Security, and Virtual Environments
  • Disaster Recovery, Continuity Planning and Digital Risk Assessment
  • Management of Business Information Infrastructure
  • Software Architecture, Deployment, and Management
• Experience in rolling out enterprise software applications that support digital transformation
• Experience in teaching in both on-campus and online environments is a plus
• Industry and business experience is a plus

Data Science candidates are expected to have:

• Expertise in one or more areas of data science
• Experience in data cleansing, data pre-processing, and data analytics tools & systems
• Experience in data modeling and machine learning (deep learning)
• Interest in teaching both on-campus and online courses, and international teaching opportunities
• Experience in course and curriculum development is a plus
• Industry and business experience is a plus
