This is a leadership position, responsible for exercising supervision and responsibility over S/R personnel in the coordinating, scheduling, installation, maintenance, and repair of substation/relay equipment, and the construction of substation facilities within the UC's service territory. Works with the Department Director in developing divisional goals and operating and capital expenditure budgets.
Schedules and supervises personnel
Assists with department operating and capital expenditure budgets submitted for approval
Maintains labor and material records
Conducts continued studies and reviews on-the-job methods, construction standards, and equipment utilization to improve efficiency and service
High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or a related field preferred
A minimum of five years of experience in substation and relay maintenance required
A minimum of five years of experience in supervisory work required
