Position Title: Water Resources Project Engineer (Full Time)

We are seeking a highly motivated Water Resources Project Engineer experienced with Stormwater Management, Drainage, Erosion and Sediment Control, Hydrology & Hydraulics Design, Watershed Studies, and Environmental Restoration. The selected candidate will work on a variety of interesting and challenging transportation and environmental projects in Delaware, Maryland and surrounding areas. This position is located in our Wilmington, DE office in the Riverfront neighborhood, working with diverse, talented, and professional multi-disciplinary teams.
Required Education, Skills and Experience
B.S. in Civil/Environmental Engineering or similar
Four (4) to six (6) years’ experience
P.E. or E.I.T. eligible
Excellent Communication skills and attention to details with a teamwork attitude is a must
Preparation of construction plans and specifications,
Floodplain analysis utilizing HEC-RAS software,
Experience with DelDOT, MDOT and/or DE/MD County projects preferred
Experience with MicroStation, AutoCAD, and GIS preferred
Candidates will work in a diverse and challenging environment and must be:
Capable of working on and coordinating simultaneous tasks
Adept at coordinating technical matters with public and private groups
Able to write reports and prepare permit applications for oversight agencies to address the full range of environmental issues and conditions associated with water resources projects
