Seeking an experienced Fire Protection Specialist with a minimum of a current NICET IV Fire Alarm, with additional preferred NICET III Special Hazards. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to, pre-construction meetings, periodic site visits for construction supervision, supervision of systems commissioning, review of shop drawings, peer and subordinate developement, consulting on any fire detection, suppression and life safety issues. In this position you will act as liason between Somyoung Fire Protection Engineering and the US Forces Korea (USFK) Fire Officers and Inspectors, supporting agencies Officers and Inspectors such as US Army Corps of Engineers-FED, Family Housing, Department of Public Works (DPW), Korean Liason offices and others. You must be well spoken, expert in document drafting and project discussions. A minimum of five years in Project Management is strongly preferred. This position is not supported by the USFK but is in response to their requirements for supervision. A full compensation package will be offered to the right candidate that may include relocation, paid housing, use of an automobile and cost sharing for medical insurance.
