ODOT Region 1 is recruiting professional engineers for two permanent consultant project manager (CPM) positions. The CPM is an agency expert in consultant management and serves as a member of regional and statewide ODOT management teams.
ODOT Region 1 is a remarkable technical team of creative, diverse individuals who are passionate about providing safe and efficient multimodal transportation systems in the Portland metro area. Our project delivery team is growing to meet the demands of the new House Bill 2017 transportation investments. These projects are some of the largest, most complex, and highly visible projects in Oregon. A great example is the:
OR217 Auxiliary Lanes and Bridge Replacement Project
Recently funded at $100 million, this project will widen OR217 approximately between OR10 and OR99W. It will accommodate a south-bound and a north-bound auxiliary lane, replace SW Hall Blvd. overcrossing structure, build a collector-distributor road, modify interchanges, and include in-water work periods for new water quality treatment facilities. Right-of-way acquisition and extensive public outreach and stakeholder engagement during construction are expected.

Minimum Qualifications: A valid professional engineer's (PE) license in civil, structural, or transportation-related engineering and three (3) years of licensed professional engineer experience.
NOTE: If registered in another state, successful applicants will be required to obtain professional registration in the state of Oregon within six months of hire.
Special Qualifications: Driving is an essential function of this position. A valid driver license and an acceptable driving record are required for this position. We will conduct pre-employment driving records checks on our final candidate(s).
