The City of Arlington, Texas is recruiting nationally for a highly experienced professional to manage its Water Utilities. This at-will position is a key member of the City Manager’s Executive Leadership Team and reports directly to the Deputy City Manager of Economic Development and Capital Investment. The Director of Water Utilities provides day-to-day management for a department with approximately 198 full-time equivalent employees and an adopted FY 2018 operating budget of over $120 million per year. A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is preferred, plus seven years of progressive experience in water and wastewater utilities administration and supervision, or any equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Registration and license as a professional engineer in the State of Texas is preferred. The City of Arlington offers a competitive salary range of $124,920 to $196,131 including an excellent executive benefit package.
